Build. The. Wall.

Then let's talk amnesty.

I'm all for amnesty. . . under those conditions. Yes, it's a shame such an amnesty would reward lawbreakers. But the alternative is roughly 11 million deportations. Aside from the logistical nightmare, the human catastrophe of such a thing would tear this nation apart.

They're here. If they're willing to become Americans-- learn the language, integrate into the economy, adopt our civic virtues-- then they should be welcome to stay.

But only if the wall keeps more illegals out.
