For once, I used my day off for the forces of good instead of evil, catching up on the last six episodes of the HBO miniseries Rome.
I had found the series slow at first, which is why I stopped watching it after only four or five episodes. Thankfully, my digital cable has HBO On Demand, so I was able to revisit the series, and I'm very glad that I did, each subsequent episode improving on the previous one.
Nifty politics, great soap opera backstabbing, plenty of casual nudity, and best of all, our two main heroes-- Vorenus and Pullo-- kick serious ass, especially in the next-to-last episode featuring the most brutal gladiator duel I've ever seen. Yeesh.
Anyway, if you haven't caught Rome, I definitely recommend watching it. Good stuff.
